Rod Bresneham

Rod Bresnehan is a Principal Reservoir Engineer with over 40 years’ experience in the technical, management and commercial sectors of the energy business. His unconventional resource experience began in the cooper basin with Santos and with the first commercial coal bed methane project (OCA/Origin) development in the areas of resource and reserve, petroleum development, commercial, marketing, project management and implementation.  He formed Bresnehan and Associates and became an international consultant in 2000 and has managed and advised Australian, European and Asian petroleum companies on reservoir engineering and held senior executive positions on commercial development/ Joint Venture projects as Principal Advisor to unconventional projects in France, Australia, China and Indonesia. Rod continues to be highly involved with the emergence of the unconventional resources /deep coal bed methane industry both in Australia and internationally. Rod holds a Bachelor of Applied Science (Chemistry), and has previously held executive positions within Australian gas and oil associations including the Society of Petroleum Engineers (previously Chairman – Australian council), the Queensland Petroleum Exploration Society and the Petroleum Exploration Society of Australia.
